Been away for a while now so maybe this is a dumb question but...can you clean it up and restore it to the original color? (If the original color was unique, otherwise I guess you could just redye it to the original color).

The unnatural dye on it kind of seems like a shame.

I'm not sure that the original color is accessible via a dye tub, but I'm willing to bet that you could reach a reasonably close color.

I know someone who has one of the original color, when they're around I'll have to see if I can replicate the color on a common robe.
