BOD Question

I have a few questions on BOD's:

1. Why do I keep getting bum BOD's from the NPC (is it a numbers game..Im lev 94 Blacksmith)
2. Where do you guys get all those BOD's to put in the books?
3. How do you fill a large BOD?? do you wait for 6 hours to get small ones?

I saw a guy post he does 300 BOD's a day...is this possible

It's all a numbers game. The large bod needs small bods to fill it so you need to get the small bods that fit in that large bod and fill them then click on the large and then click the filled small bods. You can get a new bod every time you turn one in so if you save up and fill 300 bods and turn them in one at a time and collect a bod after every one you will replace all of those filled bods with new bods without waiting 6 hours.

thanks....good info. Just one question that I cant get my mind around. How do I get multi BODs to turn in - to get a new one for each one...I need to have them to start? Buy them?

You can buy them from player vendors. Some players have multiple bod gatherers. A character only needs .1 smithy to get a bod. Some players have lots of characters with .1 skill and gather bods and then turn them in with their main blacksmith. My boyfriend has 2 bod accounts - 10 gm smiths and 10 gm tailors. He doesn't play UO anymore but the accounts are still active so I get bods at least once a day. It's easy to stockpile a lot of bods that way.

You get large bods the same way you get small bods from the npc or from other players (beg, buy or steal them). Or if you are lucky some of the smiths with multiple accounts might give you a bunch. Or you might get them if you happen to run across a house that collapsed (IDOC).
