Boat docking in EC?

Okay I was working on some of the various virtues, and was doing an escort to Nujel'm. This was on my main character, a Paladin, and since you can't use the moongate system to get to Nujel'm, I bought a boat, and sailed there. Well, I arrive at Nujel'm, and I can't get off the boat. I lowered the gangplank and tried everything I could think of. No luck. I thought maybe it was just Nujel'm so I sail back to the mainland, and well, I still couldn't get off the boat. I had to log off, and relog in using the Classic Client. Of course, the escort had disappeared, but I was able to get off the boat and dry dock it.

Anyone else have this problem? I tried every part of the island, even the docks, but I couldn't get off the boat.

Make sure your character is not running. When you run you can never get of a boat. You realy need to walk.

It works well for me, i think you have toggled on always run.

Ah... okay I had just earlier had toggled the always run on. So this only happens on the EC? Thanks, now I know.

No. You cannot get off a boat by running in either client.
