To help everyone enjoy and use this board, please follow the following rules:
- Follow the RULES OF CONDUCT at all times. You can read the ROC here. If you have not read it already, we strongly encourage you to do so.
- Report violations of the ROC, using the 'Notify a Moderator' button.
To help out us moderators in our task (which on active boards can be really tedious, like this one) a function has been added: the fourth icon on the right side at the bottom of the post, called "Notify Moderator". We request that you use this when you see someone breaking the ROC and it has not been handled yet. This will surely make for a better place on the Forums and will lighten up our task.
- Some common sense rules:
DON'T feed the trolls. /php-bin/shared/images/icons/laugh.gif It only makes them happy. Report such a post to the moderator(s).
Posts regarding 8x8, or questions that could be answered by the FAQ - if you do not want to answer the poster, do not respond by flaming them either. (See the rule about following the ROC.)
Excessive use of the 'notify a moderator button' (especially if it is obviously unwarranted) is a no-no. Simply put do not overuse it, especially if the ROC has not be broken.
