Flax plant is not a bug if that is what you are saying.
I'm saying how do you get a blue plant from plants that aren't supposed to be able to be cross pollinated without a bug?
currently the only seeds you can use to get a plain flax plant are the peculiar seeds from various monsters...none of them are colored.
please correct me if i'm wrong

There was a bug that allowed bonsai to be cross pollinated. I'm not sure of other plants not normally able to be cross-pollinated were bugged too.
But the blue-ish colored flax plant is the normal color (green stems, light blue flowers). They are also normally obtainable in black and white colors through the Naturalist quest and 5th nest (currently bugged and unobtainable... will be fixed in next patch.)

Ah ok. Flax couldn't be obtained in other colors with that bug that I'm aware of. Since their normal, plain color is blue, that is what I thought you (and the OP) are getting at. That the OP was simply saying blue seeds meaning because they are blue normally.I'm saying how do you get a blue plant from plants that aren't supposed to be able to be cross pollinated without a bug?

The only plants in various new colors I have from that bug are bonsai, a new green shade of rushes and the flowering cactus.
