Block War On Pets

Hello, I have that little box checked to block war on pets, so I accidently don't attack my own pet, but I guess it doesn't work, or something because I can still accidently attack my own pet. Is there something I'm overlooking? I am using the enhanced client.

I have wondered what that was about as well. I always figured it had something to do with pet area damage and guild mates or something... but honestly not a clue.

From a CC perspective I can say it definitely works to prevent direct physical attacks and you get the message 'War on target blocked' however it does not work for direct spells, AoE spells will hit depending on normal flagging scenarios.

I tried attacking my pet with a crossbow and it didn't have any warning at all. Even though I had that box checked to block war on pets. Maybe it's a glitch with the enhanced client? Not sure.
