Block placement

I was wondering, is there a way I can place blocks in front of my house?

Basically, I removed the steps when I customized the house but was thinking I'd like them but it seems I can't use the granite blocks. So, short of going back into customize mode, is there a way I place blocks in the area I have in red?

If your house is a plot 18 x 18, you can go into costumizing Menu (click house-shield) whenever you want and set them. Plz take care of the messages you get showed - some items have to be removed before you can go into the menu - and after finish your design and commiting plz check your moving crate for other missing items.
The short blocks should be under stais menu if you use the costuminzing tool.

If your house is a keep or a castle of the newer desings you have no change to place any further blocks outside I suppose.

Yes, it is a 18x18. I was just hoping to avoid going into the customize mod. I have a number of items placed that were a pain to place and I know will go to the moving crate.
I guess I'll just leave it be. Thank you for the response.
