best way to train SS on non necro?

what's the fastest way to gain SS for a non-necro? If you don't have access to a soulstone to flush skills away...

do SS gains still rise, regardless of necro spell level? for example could i just cast curse weapon with human JOAT and get to 100 SS?

or should I just actively use the skill as if I was trying to get a heal off?

Just spam Curse Weapon. In a caster suit.

Exactly. Use a non-human with 0 necro. Lock necro at 0. Then equip a 2/6, 40 LMC, 100 LRC, High MR suit. You don't need to equip a weapon. You may get a note saying you need to equip a weapon but it doesn't matter to gain. I usually carry a scrappers.

The JOAT necro for a human will allow you to succeed casting CW 50% of the time and will use mana. If you have 0 skill on an elf or garg you won't use any mana. Easier to raise skill on them and then soulstone it over to your human.
