Best way to come by Library points?

I want to get a Library Talisman - A Primer On Arms Damage Removal.
The points value is up there a bit. What's the best way to earn the points? Suggestions?

I think I turned in a bunch of Valorite Ingots I had saved up. But that was before the mining changes... No idea what'd be best/quickest/cheapest now.

The way that I got the most points the fastest was by mining... but that was back when you could actually jump from Valorite spot to Valorite spot... now that mining is more difficult your best bet may be just to buy one off a vendor if you dont want to take the time to mine.

a good way is to buy wood off vendors when they price them cheaply (frostwood, heartwood, bloodwood are best for points) and then just turn those in. you only need 11.5k frostwood boards if you do this.

Most of these items are for sale somewhere and a lot cheaper the 12 million that it would take to buy from the donations
It is more a time factor than a cost

That's the method I used for my two talismans. I shopped around until I found one for one million gold and another for 1.5 million.

I use the following method for 2 reasons- 1) Keeps my Reagent Vendors Stocked. 2) Works out the cheapest way of obtaining.

How??

Get a rune book, go round and mark the location of every FACTION Reagent vendor, in most shards you will find @ 8 in each of the Faction run towns, if not, contact the Faction controlling the towns and request them placing faction vendors.

Then simply go round buying every reagent,

Its boring, & slow at first, but after an hour or so each one is selling you 999 lots of the 8 Regs @ 3 gp.

I did the math for my old guild and it was basically paying 1/2 the price of Vendor sold primers, and you had bulk regs to sell on @ double your money.

I found that spending an afternoon, @ 5 hrs I was able to obtain 2 Talismen, 1 pair of Wiz crystal Glasses and a plethora of resaleable @ double money regs.

IMHO...!!!

Aye I bought two of them on Cats one for 800k one for 500k, cheaper than any other method I could come up with.
