IF you are a current visitor or resident of Baja, We ASK for your HELP!

The MT Rune Library on coastline due North of Skara Ranger Huts and East of Skara Moongate fell sometime during the last few days. It was NOT intended to fall. The Owner wants to rebuild it.

PLEASE, if YOU or ANYONE you know collected stuff from there, Go to Mailbox of Needful Things just outside North Luna Gate and return stuff, PLEASE!

A Rune to the Return Mailbox will be locked down at Baja Community Center at Luna NorthWest Corner.

Thank You ALL for helping us RESTORE This Treasure and Baja Resource.

Yep it fell....I missed it by a week. Nobody to blame but myself for not having it checked ahead of time. The only things of interest from the house would be any soulstones it may have had and it's books of course.

I'll have the new home built in the weeks ahead.

Oh man, that stinks! Whenever I meet a returning player, I get them a rune to that library if they ask about seeing the sites. If you need any help Ivan, just let me know!

Please consider my request. Come back to Baja, to Leadership of the Mage Tower. If Baja EVER needed folks like you, it NEEDS you now. Let the past be the past, let wounds heal.

Ivan, I quit playing several months ago and uninstalled the UO client.

However, I'm going to break the promise I made to myself and my family to not play again and pay up a couple of accounts and gather up some stuff for you, including my rune library. It's not nearly as large as the one you had, but it included a fair number of books you might find useful. I may also round up some of those fancy schmancy house teleporter pads for you too. All this is, of course, assuming my old guildmates haven't already cleaned up everything and didn't tell me! I gave them all my account info and told them do whatever they wanted with stuff, but I don't know if they did anything with the stuff on Baja since that isn't a shard any of them played on regularly.

I'll be back in touch when I know more. And if I have trouble catching up with you to hand over stuff, I'm going to impose on Elladen to see if he might be able to take stuff in your stead. I really need to limit my playing time because I made a promise to my family I wouldn't be playing again and I'm going to stick to that promise!

Would one of you be able to make a list of things you'll be needing and post it here? I know that many of us want to help rebuild the rune library and house but aren't sure what's needed. This would give us a great opportunity to work our crafters and help you and Baja at the same time. I'll check back, now and then, to see if a list can be compiled. As a side note....jacuzzis aren't craftable so you'll have to create that yourselves. *wink* (inside joke)

Well, looks like my guildmates saved my rune library but I have no clue where they stashed it. LOL I guess I have to rescind my offer to donate it. If I can track down where it is and they're not actually locked down, I'll see if I can get one of those fancy pens, make up a pile of blank books, and make you a copy of the whole set, Ivan. Will keep you posted on whether or not that idea pans out.
