So i got my spellweaving the other day, and started training it up

Then someone gave me a nature's fury scroll, and so i started using it.

at first i just threw them around for gains, but later i needed gold for regs, so i went to despise, these things do 10+ damage a shot to ettings and earth ellys.

no big deal right? those are easy, so i did the pixy quest, so i could summon fey, and i noticed them doing the same damage to reapers and paragon reapers, and trolls and paragon trolls. they ate everything up so fast it was insane.

later i helped my friend get his spell weaving

the bees seemed to do the same damage against exodus overseers, and minions, and controllers, and golems, and a paragon controller bit the dust as well.

do these have armor ignor? ill have to do more tests, but i can conclude that these were killing the overseers and minions way faster then energy vortex was back when i did the quest the first time, plus more dispell targets, so less likley for them all to get dispelled

No they have no special but, they hit with 100% poison (try them on an arctic ogre lord) with 90%tactics and gm wrestle not sure on str...they are insane as if they take damage they will increase the damage they do!!

of course they will do better than an ev...you can have 5 of thesee lil buggers hitting for 10 (ive seen 25per as well btw) every second or quicker...thats 50hp a sec!!!

The problem is they have low hp so drop quick and without a high circle do not last long.

I consider the short time span as a non-issue, in fact, I even like it.

With the short life span of NF, I can cast a few on a creature or group of creatures, move on, and by the time I get to the next group, the first furies are gone and I can continue casting without having to dispel the first group.

The only problem with them is they're notoriously easy to dispel, so it's a waste of mana against most spell casting monsters.

My favorite fury-trick: When keying the citadel, one of the keys is held by an executioner with 100% reflect physical damage. Since my samurai is human, he uses jack of all trades spellweaving and has enough mana to cast two of them. So when I'm doing that key, I disarm all of the spawn in the room, kill everything except the High Executioner, then cast two natures fury to help kill it. It saves me a lot of damage and healing in the long run and the reflected damage back on the furies increases their potency.

They use less manna and cast twice as fast as an Energy Vortex. Very handy if you need a quick distration to keep from becoming the target of some big nasty coming your way.

Pop off a couple Nature's Fury, cast invis and you've usually bought yourself some time to think things over.

Maybe... you don't need gold that much... there are other things in life that you can enjoy for free... besides... that Paragon Balron is just protecting his home... maybe we should let him be...

Hehe, I have a very odd stealth template I use for scouting and a little RP.

You'd be suprised what a mix of those and some earth ele's can do.

Then again, his mana can also keep up on spamming a horde of them for a long time. Depends on your goals and playstyle.

Bees are AWESOME! I used to think EVs were broken. I had no IDEA! I love these things! I am never building a character without spellweaving ever again!

I wouldn't call them broken, poison resist knackers them and they can die pretty fast to certain damage types.

But damn, they are handy.
