Basic Vendor questions

Hi,

It's been years since I've had any vendors, and those were all on my own houses. I'd like to place a vendor on a house that is owned by a player that I don't really know well, but it's in Luna.

My question is very basic: How do I keep my vendor "safe", ie. can the owner kick the vendor off or remove anything from the vendor without my permission?

Thx

if ever something happens to your vendor then you'll be able to collect all of your gold and items via their house sign for 7 days. Things are pretty secure now on the vendor front.

Thx for the input, Derium... You mention: "if ever something happens to your vendor..." - what might that something be?

nothing can be taken off your vendor.

The vendor can decay if you dont have enough gold on it.
The owner can choose not to renew your contract and it will expire

In either case you vendor goes into storage for like 144 hours.

You can go to the house sign and click retrieve goods.
You get everything back and your gold

If you leave it bast the 144 hours or so. You lose it all.

yep, everything is locked tight - you're the only one that can access the goods or gold stored on the vendor. i'd recommend checking your vendor at least once a week though, in case the home owner sells the house and the new owner cancels the rental contract or something similar. then, like has been stated, you have 1 week to click the house sign and get your goods and gold back. after the week is up, the home owner can access/take anything. but i don't think that happens hardly ever, especially in luna. i've rented a luna vendor on atlantic for 3 years now from the same house and have had no issues. also, if the owner stops paying, the house won't drop as long as there's vendors, so you're stuff is still safe, even if they don't play anymore.
