I have been tossing a ton of things over in my head for a Siege mage template and am having trouble deciding on something...

I am trying to build a support mage with relatively good survivability. This will not be a 1v1 mage.

I am OK using any skills except Hiding/Stealth. I understand the need for ninja (if dismounted) and would consider this as an option.

Suit suggestions along with the template are a plus.

I'd like to evaluate both faction and non-faction configs.

If I am asking too much just ignore me...

dont listen to kage he cant play a mage to save his life.
Here is the temp that I like, kinda of have to when I play a mage because I am even worse than kage.

100 mage (crystaline ring +20 mage)
120 eval
100 anatomy
100 spellweavin
120 parry
80 ninja
100 med

You can run high dci fairly easy, shield +15, dci glasses +25, fey legs +20, I like the rune beetle carapace. It helps to be in factions. You can run the orni or a nice 1/3 with 10 ninja, 25 pot, a little dci and run throwaway arcane shields. 100 str 125 int and 60 dex (that is after all the bumps from equipment.) Chug a dex pot to get to 80 dex when fighting a dexxor and use attunement. Be sure to get a level 6 arcane focus. This isnt a power 1 on 1 temp, you will struggle to get kills 1 on 1. But in a group with the pixies, attunement and essence of wind combined with mage spells is very useful.

If it's just a support mage, I'd consider dropping the eval int, parry, anatomy. No need to be the main offense if you're a support mage, I would think your strategy is to disrupt the offense of the opposition instead of dealing huge damage. As such, I offer this suggestion:

100 Magery ( jeweled to 120 )
120 Meditation
120 Resist
100 Poisoning
120 Archery
_90 Tactics
_70 Ninjitsu

Eval int isn't needed for summons, heals, or a vast majority of Magery spells, just the offensive ones you wont be using.

Putting poisoning on template will allow you to cast high level poison fields ( which will disrupt the opponents offense and cause them to drink cure pots, which in turn puts a timer on them drinking heal pots instead ), you can cast very high level poison from 1 tile away, throw DP stars, and shoot serpent arrows. Keeping the enemy poisoned while your team deals damage is a good supporting mages role, imho.
