(Question) Bane Loot

Last week sometime I killed some of the Banes and ended up with a "Focusing Gem Of Virtue Bane". Curious whether it is worth anything or might help driving the Bane guards from Moonglow.

was it determined that it doesnt go over the 500 pts on any item?
if so then they not worth alot.
if you can go over 500 then they are worth some shinnies
