Last night I spotted a weapon on a vendor that totally blew my mind. Here is what it said...

Dull Copper Kryss
Exceptional
Hit Lower Attack 50%
Hit Fireball 50%
Hit Chance Increase 14%
Swing Speed Increase 30%
Damage Increase 40%
Poison Resist 14%
Lower Requirements 50%
Physical Damage 100%

I tried making a couple krysses with a regular smith hammer and both came out with the pre-set stats that were nowhere close to the uber weapon. Is it safe to assume by the color (dull copper color) and the name that it was made with a dull copper runic hammer and likely so by a Legendary Smith with a really good talisman? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

hmmm.... it was made with dull copper ingots, not a dull copper hammer
it was crafted by the legendary smith Odin Ironforge and it has a pricetag somewhere in the neighborhood of 70m

I saw it in Luna a while back, I stop and drool over it every once in a while.

High end hammer was used to create it I'd guess. Verite or Valorite.

Yep...

Verite or valorite hammer (has 5 properties, plus those from Dull Copper metal)
40% Damage increase indicates a character with 100 Arms Lore.

Only takes 107.2 Smith without a talisman to make a Kryss exceptional 100% of the time.

Swing speed increase on a kryss doesn't make too much difference in how it works (does it?). Is that weapon really worth 70 million gold?

Well, the one thing that SSI can do is make it to where a user can run at much lower dex and still get best possible swing speed than someone using a normal speed kryss, allowing them to put more points into Int for mana to chain special moves.

If the person is already using pots instead of bandages for heals and cures, this is much more valuable.

high ssi on a kryss might help for characters running no magic resist getting cursed or running out of stamina etc.
