I must say wow, much has changed. A lot has changed!! My gosh. I am very eager to get back into the game. I chose to play an elf class and go with some new stuff, necromancy and maybe some of the mysticism. Sounds cool. So if you see me running around like a turkey with its head off don't be afraid to say,
"Hey Blood Puke-- WTF LMFAO NEWB!! Let me help you :)"

Thanks to those who have provided me with gear and put me on the fast track to GM Resist - ha!

No more 24 hours of fire fields.

To any that remember Envious GM Archer hit me up! I was the guy with the blue robe and blue back pack, wink wink.:eyes:

Thanks. I guess my next step would be to look for a clan. or guild rather. (I've been playing lineage 2 and aion)

Do people still have faction wars, I remember being in the shadow lords and minax. (who ever had the red robes)

I too am thinking about coming back and I was wondering how the housing situation is looking on ATL? Should I buy one already set or just place one myself I prefer an old school tower, do buildings still decay lol?

Atlantic is the most populated shard - so housing is still tight in prime locations. I do know you can place 10x13 type plots in tram or malas fairly easy... and larger in fel.

Housing still decays, but not as it used to. If you have a single house, it is your primary house and it will not decay unless you close your account for 90 days. A few players still have houses under the old rules that used to allow more than one house per account. Those houses are considered grandfathered so the new rule of 1 house per account does not apply. I believe that those grandfathered houses still have to be refreshed in the old manner.

Damn so I can only imagine housing must be crazy expensive. So did they never decided to do medieval high-rises yet?

Apparently, there are supposed to be housing spots becoming available in the abyss. This was mentioned with the release notes but not anytime since.

But in the mean time, there are plots available for placing. Nothing large, but anything less than a 16x16 is usually cheap.
