To Siege:

In an effort to be as transparent as possible, I will be keeping a sort of short and long list of ideas and agendas and encourage you to reply with thoughts and ideas of your own based on them. Please know that as much as all opinions are important, it does not mean every idea or opinion will be possible for me to do.

I stated in my greetings that sharing events and storylines with you will help me to do it better each time. We have a bit of catching up to do and I hope some of the shorter events over the weekend allowed you to do just that.

My short list:
Activate more raiders (Dan) in varying towns allowing players to build up more loyalty points

Walk through a bit of the Act II storyline (Cora) for players wanting to explore Ilshenar

Introduce Aldric in preparation of Act III

Post the EM Event for this week

Continue storyline for Aldric and what is in store for Siege players

Post an Aurora's Agenda to the Siege community

Get a website going that hosts character storylines and an event calendar



Long list:
Next week, schedule an official meet in greet at various times to meet players

Keep up to date with the next Act for Siege and post them

Look towards monthly events and get feedback on what works best:
1. Something for crafters
2. Something for pvp'rs
3. Something for pvm'rs
4. Something for thieves

I do look forward to a selection of events. Especially events that could be good for crafters.

Also, and this is just my view, occasional events that can be completed over a period of time rather than one night. I don't expect that for every event but if something along those lines could be good.

Siege does have such a diverse timezone spread.

Just had another thought. A pvp event would go down well at the moment. We have some big guild tension going on right now and a shard wide pvp event inviting ALL players would do well. Especially using the new arenas EA released, which would make interference less of a problem. Only problem will be getting the duelists to arrange mutual time when remembering the timezone differences. Probably done over the course of several weeks.

I don't know much about the new arenas and the kind of data that can be retrieved. But from the chat I see there are plenty of people out there looking for fights right now.

As for me, I can't pvp my way out of a paper bag but would love to watch hehe

Hi Symma!

I too would like to see a continued storyline for these events, something where even gardeners can have a hand in helping us along.

Thank you for sharing some ideas, I'll definitely update things as we go along.
As for pvp events, the Arenas I feel would come in handy for a variety of reasons but I have also enjoyed shard wide battles at sea and land...we'll sort it as we go.

Timelines will be difficult since Siege does vary greatly. I have tried to allow for that in my schedule and rotate it around some too. I will also try to update event times with most time zones so we're not all counting fingers and toes for when its 'your' time

Update April 21:

New Siege Website is near completion. I need to make a few tweaks here and there but I hope it's helpful. Please take a look at the layout and offer any suggestions to make it more user friendly.

I do not know if an EM has the ability to add a moongate somewhere or not.

One of our arenas is in Ocllo, which never even was given a moongate, like the *Havens or New Havens* elsewhere,
and since we only have an Ocllo, and no Havens, we could use a moongate to Ocllo, if not by the arena persay, then by the tannery or bank or somewhere, that will get those players whom can not gate, to Ocllo
to attend whatever may be going on whenever at the Ocllo arena.

*just sayin* in case they might miss your gate to an event, they would need someway to get TO Ocllo especially if they are running late and miss any gate you yourself, or players, might provide to an event at Ocllo Arena.

To me the times are not quite correct; London is one hour too early as well as Athens. Just comparing it to Berlin time.
For example if Berlin/Brussels time is Sun, Apr 22, 2012 - 4:00:00 PM, London time is supposed to be 3:00:00 PM and
Athens 5:00:00 PM. Therefor the current Athens time is the correct one for Berlin/Brussels but not for Athens
Also I'd also like to ask for Berlin or Brussels time to be add as it counts for more Europeans than London time does (only for UK).

Yeh the London time was wrong. The clocks went forward a few weeks ago and put us into BST (British summer time). It'll go back to GMT in October.

While messing around on test center I decided to try and build a chess set. It works great with tower sculptures from the mines and the monk statues from mines and dojos. The cordinates are 31.59s x 37.20w in fel on test. The house is open to the public. What if we could build a chess set here and have a match in Njulem on the big board there? Or if we get enough people, each wearing different colors have a match among us? Then when a piece is taken, they could get killed.
