Auction Paddles And Box

The way this would work, you would have a box called an Auction Box. People would click the box and a paddle would go into their pack. There could be a graphic where when you bid, you have a paddle in your hand that goes up, raising your hand.

Graphic is not really needed though as long as you have a paddle in your pack. The owner of the home could run The Auction, having permission to start The Auction.

Once The Auction begins you can no longer click the box for a paddle.

Everyone who has a paddle can open up the box. Once an item is placed into the box, the owner or whoever has permission can then set the beginning bid on the item.

Everyone that has a paddle can see into the box, see the item and mouse over to see the current bid.

The Autioneer can set how much the value of the item will go up for each bid made. Each time somebody clicks their paddle, in their pack, they make a bid. If the person does not have enough gold in the bank, they are told the item cost to much and are removed from The Auction and must wait for the next item or an item they can afford.

When everyone is done bidding and nobody will bid higher The Auctioneer can process the transaction by either accepting where the item would go into the pack of the high bid and the money would go into the bank of The Auctioneer.

Or, The Auctioner would cancel, feeling maybe the bid was not high enough for the item. So The Auctioneer would have the right to set a reserve on the item.

For example: The Auctioneer places a robe into the box, sets a reserve for 50 million, begins bidding at 25 million, highest bid 49 million. The Auctioneer can then cancel.

This would create secured transactions and allow for everyone to participate knowing there is no way to be scammed.

I actually like the sound of that. I dont think it would create that much coding to create/produce either!
