There will only be one Silent Auction House with 100 biddable lots for everyone to enjoy. I am now accepting items for the Silent Auctions. Please note I may not include all submitted items, low value items, and repeat items. I will try to provide a wide variety of rares to choose from, and I will definitely accept at least one qualified submission from every seller. I am strictly a volunteer, there is no fee for submitting or paying for your auction items. If you are new to silent auctions, please read instructions on how to participate below.

Auction Rules For Sellers:

All sellers who wish to participate in the Silent Auction must hand me their items in a bag with a book with your prominent name, your contact information, reserves, buyouts, will you accept gold on both Europa & Atlantic, any and all necessary pertinent information to help me promote selling your item. This book will be placed on display with each of your items for all to read. Please use the picture above as a reference. Sellers can either contact me to hand me these items personally or drop them off in a mailbox at the Silent Auction Houses on Europa.

Please note for your convenience I will be accepting payment for these auction items on the Europa and Atlantic shards. However bidder determines which of those two shards gold will be paid on.

Do not hand your items off to an imposter, only I will have my ICQ in my subtitle, Guild Abbreviations ~AFK, Royal Explorer title, and europa gold colored Royal Explorer clothes.

Auction Rules For Bidders:

All bidding will be done via Bulletin Board. Bidders please read the books locked down with the items to determine what the reserve and buyouts are, if there are in fact any. All bidders and proxy bidders must include their prominent name (not unknown alias) and provide contact information (ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, or Stratics Name) in addition to their bid amount. All Bids must be made in 1 Million Gold or higher increments. There will be a 10 minute cool down period starting with the last bid placed on items during the last 10 minutes, the cool down period begins at 6:50 PM. Players can choose to continue bidding past 7:00 PM EST only on items that received bids during the last 10 minutes period, and can continue bidding for another 10 minutes until no more bids have been received for a full 10 minutes. Anyone can bid in this cool down period, even players who have not previously bid on the item. Please note any bids not adhering to the auction rules will be deleted. I will also ban any malicious bidders from further participation.

Receiving Your Winnings:

Gold will be acceptable on Atlantic and Europa shards only. Players will have 5 days (120 hours) to pay for their items, or be placed on notice as a non-paying bidder in the rares community. I will broker the sale of all the items presented in the silent auction houses. In order to receive your winnings, you must contact me via ICQ, Stratics, or Facebook. My colorful army of Orienteering Robed vendors will accept your gold. After you have bought of these vendors, I will deliver onto you, your winning item(s). I might be able to personally provide limited gold swapping for a few select shards if you notify me in advance. Please contact me for additional optional payment methods.

without any type of documentation or verification from messana it comes down to a personal judgement call. it was a stack it looks like., so there could be 2 or 999. personally if it were my item, i would have emailed messana in order to provide some sort of info.

Why can't you just ask your friend how many he/she picked up. At least give us a range less than 20 more than 20 or something. Case in point, many years ago when donuts were considered a rare food sold for the likes of other server births until someone figured out a stacking dupe bug and made thousands. Now he sold them as if they were still rare for quite some time before people began to figure it out. Just sad that your friend would keep this information quite all in the name of making a quick buck.

Yes I know but since you're in contact with her why can't she just give you a straight up answer? Is she that desperate for gold? Not everyone visit this forum so would have no idea of the discussions that's taking place.

To say just bid what you like is turning a blind eye and not a good way to do business in this small community especially you are representing her. Granted they are not "your" items but you had Nails put it out there so any questions we have goes to you and it is you who should address these issues.

This reminds me of the Unique weapon and shield you had for sale at your castle just a few months ago. Again, 2 unique items poped up that no one has heard of before. I understand I am not all knowing when it comes to EM rares, but when Nails, ShuShu and all the other major collectors never heard of them as well just makes you start to wonder. I've bought many items from you in the past and have no reason to doubt anything from you but when it comes to these cakes we need better answers. If they are the only 2 out there then expect the prices to go in the billions.

At this point I've decided to bow out of the auction for the cakes.
I want to explain why because everyone here KNOWS I collect this very type of thing and would LOVE to own one.
Issue #1 Mesanna couldn't tell me how many there actually are. I asked but the question wasn't answered fully.
Issue #2 Mesanna had to make the two cakes unstackable. She said they shouldn't have been made stackable. I suggested maybe someone picked up a whole stack at a point when an EM was decorating. She answered "Probably"
Issue #3 I would want to resell the second cake. I don't horde multiples of items (i know some people enjoy having all of an item released... no stones to you I just don't) I don't think at this point I would be able to sell the second cake to anyone, there are too many major players in the rares field that are suspicious. I don't think I'd be able to "break even"
Issue #4 When I asked Mesanna if it were possible for someone to have taken one cake and dropped it on a stack of 59 and made 60k "Happy Valentine's Day" cakes out of them she said she "didn't think so" because a player made item is different from a staff made item so she doesn't think it would be possible in the coding. Since she didn't say "no" it makes me think that maybe there's one in a brazillion chance that this is possible and that's one too many chances for me. She did say she made those two particular cakes unstackable.

This is me trying to give full disclosure on why I initially decided to bid on the item and why I am now changing my mind. I am not bashing the seller, the friend of the seller, and certainly not Nails the auction holder or anyone else willing to take the chance on the items. Lord knows if there's only 2 I'd love to own one of them. I finally have a coin to spend. I guess I'll buy something else.

Here is some free advice:

Sellers - It is in your best interest to promote your items on display at the Silent Auction house and the Rares Festival at Large. I have no issue with anyone who helps themselves sell their item before the auction ends on Saturday. Examples include sharing my posts on facebook and twitter to spamming in general chat on your home shard.

Buyers - It is in your best interest to contact sellers if you wish to buy an item for less than the reserve price or contact me if you would like to do a buyout on the item. I can't check the bulletins 24/7.

Why would you submit and item for a friend if your not willing to go the length and seek out its legitimacy? You also posted YOUR icq in the book listing this item if we cannot ask YOU about it then why didn't you leave your "friends" icq? I love the cake color my friend mentioned wanting to buy it for me as a gift but I'm seriously considering telling them not to even bother with this nonsense.

Ill be Icqing you later inquiring about this item and if you choose to ignore me then that your loss on future sales and your friends loss on gold.

All these type of "questionable" items are starting to piss me off. Nails needs to screen these items from now on. I worked my ass off trying to collect the legit items by going to nearly all events, buying, selling, trading like a full time job and brings me satisfaction when I finally get the item that's documented and legally created by Mesanna. Seeing these items out there out-of-the blue makes me think why the f#@$ should I even bother to collect if all i have to do is to find a renegade EM or better yet apply to become one to create all the items I want.

My event item list that's 10+ years in the making was not designed to protect the legit items but to protect against all these illegal items. These items will NEVER make it to the list. Anyone who supports this by bidding on them at least the community will know who they are.

In addition, the category of "undocumented items" is too nicely put let's from now on call it what they truly are "illegally created items". This by no means include those that were truly stolen accidentally during the event in which those items can easily be documented since as soon as they are stolen half the people on my ICQ list will be talking about it.

My original calculations were off, the total has gone up to 24429 million out 105 lots when adding in the earlier buyouts. Atlantic rares festival made an amazing 75100 million with 168 lots and many unique items. Pacific rares festival had 196 lots and made 34425 million

In just this past year starting in February of 2013 to 2014, I have personally brokered nearly 300 billion gold in items sold in my own silent auctions and rare festival silent auctions. I have easily brokered well over 500 billion gold in rares, houses, and accounts. That's right over 800 billion gold has been exchanged and passed through my digital fingers in just one year's time. Over 90% of this total was brokered for free.
