Attempting to place statue

I'm trying to redo a design I had a year or two ago and I've tried every avenue.

the messages I get are "You cannot place this multi tile add on near the entrance!"

Then "You can't place this near stairs"

I'm trying to place the heritage token statue on those two pillars on the front. I had the exact design so not sure if they changed it already or what?

Any ideas?

multi-tile addons were barred from the tile at the foundation edge several updates past. Ticked me off because I had water trough planters along mine and when I redeeded them I couldn't put them back!

Essentially those pillars need to be moved back one tile to place the statues.

Yep I did too and I too was pretty peeved when that happened. I don't know why this is but I sure wish they would fix it.

if you can place on that tile theres a way to do some pretty crazy stuff with some add ons

From what I understand, that "change" may be permanent. It was made/done to fix an issue with duping a certain multi-tile item. I've not read anything, anywhere, stating they planned on changing it back. Would be nice to know if someone else read any mention of it reverting though.
