As of 2-27, expansion codes don't seem to be working. Read this before you purchase.

I have called customer service 3 times and been on hold for 45, 37, and 32 minutes without even speaking to an agent. I had to end each call, because I'm at work and need to get other stuff done.

I purchased a Stygian Abyss upgrade code that I was charged for and it's saying that it has already been used. I see that I'm not alone in this boat, but I can't even get someone from customer service to answer my call.

After a total of over 2 hours on hold, they issued me a new code and this one also says...

This code has already been used!

You looked for a different place in account management to enter it?

I have tried everything, and if you look around this forum, a lot of other players are experiencing the same message.

I have been on hold for about 50 minutes now, fortunately it's on speaker and can still do what I need to.

I rechecked my email and yep right code put in. There is only one area
that i can see...the upgrade codes for High Seas and Gothic both went
thru without a hitch.
So no clue what's up with the Stygian code.
Maybe Mesanna will see this and give us an update :):):)

Same thing happened to my friend they tried a bunch of "new" codes for SA upgrade and its saying they have been used already. He was on phone with for a while today also trying to get it fixed.

Does problem occur for HS upgraded accounts only?

I've only tried on High Seas upgraded accounts. So, maybe. However, I've seen others saying that their High Seas upgrade was generating the same error. Perhaps, they were on Stygian Abyss upgraded accounts.

I called today and they finally applied a code to my account. I can't say that the codes received from the store are working because they applied it themselves.

Initially, the rep asked about a comcast.net account. Once i informed him not i do not (and never did) have a comcast.net email address, he just applied a code and that was it.

I can only assume that someone either figured out their generation system or someone on the inside has a side business selling codes lol.

This would explain why folks like Mesanna and others who chime in on the smallest little thing have said NOTHING about this. I am so very disappointed from top to bottom as to how this thing has been handled.

If the code I was given was used by illegal purposes prior to its assignment to me, then RE-activate my code... and let me play. I can't play now, because I have sold my old gear and am waiting to put on my new "Stygian Abyss" required gear.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE ME PAY FOR AN UPGRADE TO USE CERTAIN GEAR, THEN MAKE SURE YOUR CODES WORK AND FIX THE ISSUE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE MY MONEY ON HOLD IN MY BANK ACCOUNT!

But have you tried sending her a PM or an email? Hoping someone actually comes on the forums just to read your post isn't the best way to get a hold of them.

Also:

Ok, just got off the phone with one of the nicest people I have ever
talked to in customer service anywhere. He told me they were aware
of the issue and what was happening were that codes were inadvertently
being issued from years ago.
He said it was being worked on and hopefully would be fixed in the next
couple days.

He could not give me a definite ETA but said that since I had the order
number and this whole fiasco is tied to my email I would be ok. He
said I could try calling or emailing back and hopefully it will be
resolved by then. I am good with that since I really can not play
till the weekend.
But at least we know it is being looked into and all are aware.

True, I guess I can give that a shot as well. I just figured someone from UO would look at UO Hall once by now this week and see the multiple posts dominating Page 1 about it.
