If you use Firefox, you could consider using Foxclocks:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxclocks/

I currently have GMT/UTC, UK, US Pacific and US Eastern clocks in the bottom bar of my browser ("Status bar" pre-FF4, "Addon bar" in FF4).
In the past I also had France and Australia, too, although I lost the need for them :(

The time clock system icon in the bottom taskbar of windows has an option for displaying the time in multiple time zones. I have mine set up for GMT and Pacific. When I mouse over the time icon, both GMT and Pacific time pop up. Real handy

Windows system clock ... right-click your time in the tray. Select "Adjust date/time', then the "Time Zone" tab. In the drop-down locate the timezone you're looking for ... it'll tell you GMT +/- offset. Can also locate via certain cities or areas of the world.

Clilck the down-arrow to close the drop-down and retain your current setting. Or click the cancel button.
