Arena: Most ignored feature addition in UO history?

Uhh, define vibrant please? Because Trammel sure as hell isnt vibrant my friend. And my post never said or implied Felucca as vibrant or bustling. Just populated. Same as Trammel.

Haha yeah, they're populated just the same. Sure. So where do I go to see someone besides the five or ten guys at Yew gate, and the five or ten guys who will attack if they find me doing a champ spawn? Where are all these mythical players?

I mean maybe there are dead shards where there's just nobody ANYWHERE and Felucca is "equally populated" because zero equals zero, but man I play Atlantic. There's a bank crowd in Luna, a different bank crowd in Haven, and meanwhile Fel is the same "abandoned except for Yew Gate and spawns" wasteland it is everywhere else.

Luna bank has peeps but half of them are usually afk and a % of the other half are pvpers looking to deal.

Go to Tram Shame right now on Atlantic and you will see alot of pvp names.

I really like that your response to the idea of Felucca being far less populated than Trammel is to point out all the supposed PVPers sitting in... Trammel. Shouldn't they be enjoying the exciting PVP goodness of Fel Shame?

I disagree with it being the most ignored feature in the game. It is my opinion that the Virtues are the most ignored. Even with newest addition of Honesty,it still stands unfinished after many,many years.

I agree! Honesty is not currently used to it's fullest, although on Siege it's awesome to find the magic items laying around! Free stuff and you get to keep it when the timer runs out!

Anyway, I think that the Arenas are not being used right now due to their locations (should have been in Britain, Zento and Ter Mur) and the lack of incentive that goes with them.

Once the betting aspect of this goes into play I think you'll see a lot more traffic. It would be great if the EM's did something with it too! Did anyone see that Adventure Time episode with the Wizard Battle?
