Just wondering!

I know... I sure am.

The early hours of January 1, 2012... I learned I narrowly avoided an uninvited trespasser, unwanted suto-family, coming to my house and would have surly made all kinds of trouble for me in my own home. lol.

Rule of etiquette... if you know you’re not welcome at someone’s house, don’t go. It's that easy. Not to mention in a state where trespassers can be shot and killed on sight.

That... and built another beautiful new house in game that will be an establishment for a friend. The shard didn’t crash! For the 2nd day in a row. All and all... a great year so far. ;)

Maybe there could be another option between "Yes oh yes!" and "No, no no! Not again." Like "So far so good," or something like that. :)

Today is the first day I can actually relax.

With the stress of Thanksgiving/Christmas and New Years all jam-packed together it's insane.

Having 2 children doesn't help matters much, playing cook, chief, hostess, Santa, shopper, mom...etc. tends to frazzle ones nerves.

Then my youngest had a severe allergic reaction to something and had to be rushed to the ER on Christmas night.

The girls stayed up until midnight on New Years Eve, which they were very proud of and slept in until almost 10 the next morning, much to the happiness of this very tired mom.

My living room still looks like a toy store exploded in it, Santa was very generous this year, but I'm sure the garbage men/landfills are none too happy with the over-abundance of *Christmas Trash* that filled the dumpsters on Christmas Day, not to mention the poor parents that had to free toys from said garbage with pliers, hammers, hack saws etc.

Overall, other then the trip to the ER, the holidays were enjoyable. Spending time with my kids is always a pleasure, but my UO Home has suffered greatly because of it.

Now that it's a new year, my castle is in dire need of some attention :)

Hope everyone elses holidays were full of merriment, lots of goodies and fun.

Happy 2012 UO Hall :)

Well.... I had to vote NO *so far* !!

Ya see one of Santa's elves musta had an evil streak in him or her.

I was given the flu on the 23rd of Dec. and it is not gone yet !!

And for someone as talkative as me, it sucks to lose your voice,
have fever, yucky stomach, while trying to cook Christmas dinner,
and sniffles sneezies and all that junk. And yesterday for my wonderous
NewYear's eve I was downing... more, chicken noodle soup ! BLEH !
Luckily hubby is as fantastic a chef cook as I am. He made 4 dozen,
of his mother's crescent rolls, prior to Christmas, from scratch by hand,
and that is pretty much, only what I been eating, keeping down, for the past week. :) They are sooooooooooo good, with melty butter on em ! YUM !

And when the kids called to
wish me Merry Christmas, I lost my voice,
and they called to wish me
a Happy New Year yesterday night and...
I still don't have my voice back, yet.

sooooo NO... so far 2012 sucketh as did the end of 2011.
I seldom if ever get the flu ever,
and I even had a shot in Oct. so not to have to fool, with this junk !!

BAH HUMBUG !:pirate::arr:

LOL

*waits for some other holiday to arrive where ima not feelin so yucky *

:mf_prop:

Now I am willing to SHARE *sneezes/coughs* :eyes:
any takers ???

And for someone as talkative as me, it sucks to lose your voice,
I didn't realise how much I talk to my cat, or inanimate objects, until I woke up Christmas morning(ish) unable to :(

Whatever it was cleared up soon enough that I could have a "little" drink come New Years Eve :)

Hope you feel better soon.

Hubby's been making me hot toddy's round the clock
since this began, hot toddy's with honey & Capt. Morgan.

Fever broke, though, so that is a good thing.

I think normal span of flu is 14 days or so.
This junk should exit me, in about another 5-6 days, I hope.
I talk to my shelties all the time, luckily, they also fathom,
my sign languages !

:)

Never fails! This is why I normaly put an option for people who are never happy with the options, yet have something to say anyway.
Well, I tend to view the new year with gratitude because (1) I had the opportunity to spend it with family, and (2) I actually made it this far. :)

Most of the year I lean toward a one-day-at-a-time philosophy. :)

Every day above ground is a Great Day!

I'm getting so old I get to hide my own Easter Eggs now!

And we are all blessed enough to still be able to enjoy this great game! :thumbup1:

It is a Good Year so far!

...

Too early to tell, but 2012 will be a busy one for me, I know that much.

Most of this week will be fairly low key until the 2012 "Eaglelanche" arrives on Friday (the start of roughly 500,000+ new coins to grade) which will last through late April (probably), then it will just depend on what the flow of work is for the rest of the year.

I'll be watching metals prices closely as usual as well as the election here in the US. Summer Olympic year as well which is always fun.

In UO, it will be watching and seeing how the dungeon and EC graphics revamps play out mostly for me, although any other surprises along the way will always be fun.
