[Gardening] Are these seeds the same?

I planted seeds called “Sugar Cane Seeds” and the plants gave me seeds called “Bright Peculiar Bamboo Seeds”. I planted seeds called “Cocoa Tree Seeds” and the plants gave me “Bright Fragrant O’hii Tree Seeds. Are these new seeds still going to give me Sacks of Sugar and Cocoa Pulp?

I believe so - you can check by planting one and going through the gump to the 'reproduction' page. If it shows it is going to give resources, they're ok.

yes the new seeds will give you the resources when harvested.
the Bright Fragrant O’hii Tree Seeds will say Cocoa Tree Seeds when added to a seed box.
The bambo will change to Sugar Cane Seeds too
