Are Legacy CU-Sidhes and Dragons/Greater Dragons really total junk now ?

Aside from the very rare 3 slots Legacy Greater Dragons which are few and far between, my understanding is, that Legacy 4-slots CU-Sidhes and Dragons/Greater Dragons are less capable to be trained up as compared to newly tamed ones.

Does this mean that these Legacy 4-slots CU-Sidhes and Dragons/Greater Dragons that many tamers have in their Stables from Years before (and from well before pet training was released) are pretty much only worth of being released or as "fancy" display but ineffective for Fighing ?

Or has anyone found a Hunting use for them to match, or at least get close, to the fighting value that a newly freshed Tamed Cu-Sidhe or Dragon/Greater Dragon can achieve due to pet training ?

I unfortunately had to release a stable full of red/black/white Cu's when I came back to the game because they were all 4 slot.

No. Between the high STR, the 560-600 Health, and the Necro+Magery, it's impossible for Shadow Wyrms to spawn as 4 slot. Back when Pub 97 was first on TC, Shadow Wyrms had their Health halved upon tame (280-300), and were able to spawn as 4 slot then. People then complained about the very low Health, and so the devs gave the Shadow Wyrms full Health after tame, which made Shadow Wyrms impossible to spawn as 4 slot. 4 Slot Shadow Wyrms never spawned on Live servers, only ever on TC.

The only possible way that 4 slot Shadow Wyrms were obtained on Live servers, is during the brief period of time after Pub 97 went live when it was possible to bug a pet's stats to drop their slot. An exploit could be used to drop a 5 slot pet, down to 4 slots then. Any 4 slot/leveled Shadow Wyrm you see, is an exploited pet.
A 5 slot Shadow Wyrm with 120 Chiv+AI, 120 Wrest, 150 Stam, 30 MR and 80/80/45/20/80 Resists would be a damage dealing god, with their 900-1,030 STR and 29-35 Base Damage.
