Are House Teleporter Sets going to be sold by EA now.

Uhm.. do you mean an exhange for the current owner of the teleporters... else all vets that sold these sets will get double items now

I think the teleporters are a very nice item and very usefull... I cant blame them for wanting everyone to have this item.. just sucks to be the buyer of an "old" set

No, the idea is that the person who has the teleporter can turn in a working set for a new unique item. If you sold your teleporter set you don't get another bonus.

Well unfortunately, the vet rewards alone, are not keeping enough of EA's UO customers from leaving, when they wish or feel the need, to leave UO for good for whatever reasons they may have had.

Well, when players have decided to stop playing the game for good then yes, I agree, hardly Veteran Rewards can make them change up their mind.

But sometimes, rather than stopping playing for good, players may only take a temporary break from playing the game. Short or long that it might be, a good Veteran Reward plan with assorted, appealing rewards "might" play a role in helping convince a given player to let the account as active rather than stop it since, the older active age will qualify, for when they come back, for some nice items which, otherwise, they could not have.....

Granted, Veteran Rewards alone can have a limited appeal but together with other pluses then they might be that extra thing which might help make a decision rather than another as far as keeping the account active goes......

It's a teleport tile you put down in a house, and you can teleport to another tile in another house? Don't I get the exact same function by marking a rune at both houses for about 20g?

I'll pass. However, i'll be in line with my credit card they day I can buy a max skill/stat cap upgrade, count me in on that.

Almost the same function, except these take you inside the house, directly to the matching tile, so if it's a very high spawn area it's safer, and means you can move pack animals easily directly to where you plan unloading the stuff - useful if you need to move crafting materials.

Plus, of course, it's simpler than finding the right rune, or page of a runebook.... never underestimate how popular making even the simplest things easier can be

I submitted that very question to the Ask the Dev's section last week. Haven't gotten an answer yet.

For people like me (read: too lazy to use a runebook every time) this is a really handy thing to have. Now I can step on a tile in my shop in tram, and be instantly transported to my keep in fel, and not have to worry about a PK (do they still exist?) waiting for me at my door. Nor do I have to mess with the inconvenience of actually opening a door and walking inside once I get there.

When you type it out like that it sounds horrible how lazy I can be.

I'm interested in seeing how a ring of vendor houses would work with these. The houses outside Luna could all be linked to some central hub to make shopping easier.
