I have three accounts, by all accounts, assuming I can count.

Two are on one email address, the other is on another who won't blow my cover, it's so hard to find.

So anyhow, it appears to be just one promotional email per email address, not per account.

Not sure which I want yet (the coupon or the Pogo stick), so I've yet to test typing in the same email address twice to see if I get two coupons or if it returns an error about a duplicate email address being entered. My educated guess is that it would say the latter. But that's because if you don't bring it the ladder, how's it gonna get down from the roof? Which is on fire, by the way.

As to using multiple coupons to get a product for free, I don't know. I tried shopping the store and entering dummy data to see if you could do two coupons, but it wouldn't let me do that without a valid code.

Maybe someone from EA could answer this.

Oh great, I just cause an earthquake, what with all of y'all rollin' on the ground laughin' over that one.

But seriously, Parizad's still around. Maybe she can shed some light on the subject?

With $45-worth of coupons due to me, it would be cool to get Sporn for free. Cuz then I'd be able to continue the TSO/Stratics tradition: Complaining about a game I didn't even pay for. :D

I posted in the other thread about this but I had received the same e-mail and chose the 90 day CP time and I never heard anything back on it, the time was not added to my account nor was I given a link or anything to add it myself. And hubby, who is on a different e-mail account, never got one for either of his premium as of 4/29 accounts at all. Strange indeed. I'm vascillating between scratching my head with my finger and silently giving that finger to EA LOL :p

Nice Eagles reference.

I realized that the last email address I had registered with EA is no longer valid; however, I clicked that link Marcin provided, and was able to enter my current e-mail address. Hopefully it works. I wasn't going to use my coupon, but decided that the upcoming Apartments EP for Sims 2 would be really, really nice to have.

Remember when luc posted the blog about the ending of the game and the email with it. They mention to make sure your email address is correct so you wouldnt have problems such as this and that you will not miss out on it.

Good luck with getting the email and I am glad to get it finally, even though it is way later than they said they would send it.

No, but like some others, I have 2 accounts and 1 email addy. I'll end up getting an EP for my SIMS2, most likely.

Not interested in POGO anything. This was my one and only "online gaming" activity and love. From DOS and Sim City "the original" to now, I wonder, where o' where did the creativity, love and fun go - after EA bit MAXIS.

Well, kids, HugZ 'n' LUVs

Been in a very stream of consciousness mood lately so I just let it flow...glad somebody picked up on the reference...I'm thinking of getting the one with pets as that's the one thing I'll miss the most, playing with my kitties...but I think it retails for 30, plus shipping of 6 or 7 bucks...so that's 37 - 15 = 22. And they've got a copy at the mall for 20...and even with THE HIGHEST SALES TAX IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY that's still breaking even...hmmm...ok, to make it cost them the price of a stamp to mail it, yeah, really stick it to "the man" lol

Or The EA Sporn Creator (tm) for like a dollar when you factor everything in... :danceb:

Already been doing "apartments" since Sims Version One (r), of course they don't stay in the apartments they're supposed to stay in any more than Grandma & Grandpa sleep in their own beds instead of Ma and Pa's beds, in all those multi-generational homes I like to make...

Still not so sure I wanna ever trust EA and buy there stuff again, and no I'm not saying that because of TSO, I'm saying that because of Sim City: Societies. :sleep2:

I actually played Pogo a few years ago, when they had a Sims Pinball complete with a chick ridding the bull lol

The first guy I talked to said that this e-mail I read to him did not even EXIST, so I very adamantly through gritted teeth to keep from screaming demanded to talk to his supervisor, who had a much less thick accent and was much more understanding, however she said that the department handling these is a different department who don't have telephone support (chicken ****s LOL) so she said that I was to contact them at http://support.ea.com and give them all the information on both mine and Dave's accounts, including a copy and paste of this e-mail so that they can't say it doesn't exist......so I guess that is what I am going to do. It's really pathetic that people are having to go to this length to get an offer that EA THEMSELVES extended, but I for one will be damned if we don't get what we have coming to us.....if they didn't want to follow through then they just shouldn't have extended the offer in the first place, IMO.

I got an email from a email ending with ea.com so it must be EA. The pics are blurry for some reason, but you can make out .fun.ea.com at the end of the email address on the first pic.

Someone should take pics of TSO-E in case we need proof, as well as any emails they receive from EA about the topic including support emails. Legally, once they informed us that we will get an optional offer, it is their job to send out the offers and give out the options chosen by the players if they don't, im pretty sure it can become a legal case. If their really was 10,000 + paying accounts before April 08, and if they deny this offer to them it would be a big legal case lol.

EA is the largest game developer & distributor in the world. With EA Sports, EA Mythic and The Sims brands and the upcoming Spore (which I am 100% sure will have EP's like The Sims), making such a huge profit for the company, I doubt it would be possible for this to happen. And EA will continue to grow as it continues to buyout small developers, if only they didn't not buyout MAXIS then they would probably not have 1/3 of its current profit & customers!

Its corporate America at its worst, the only way I see the company to actually begin thinking about its customers, is if the stock fell dramatically (stock value & money are basically the only thing they think about) or if the stockholders demand change (which wont happen since EA stock rose lol).

So basically, were screwed.

Well, I think the world is spinning in the *opposite* direction on its axis now LOL. I actually did send that e-mail to support.ea.com WITH the e-mail attached in a text document and within an hour had an e-mail asking me to provide the last 8 digits of the credit card on both accounts (mine and hubby's) and within another hour had the 90 days credited to my CP account and his coupon for the $15 off. We were both blown away. I think the claim that that e-mail didn't exist was just a combination of pure ignorance on the part of the telephone guy, and the fact that his English was *very* broken. I'm not totally against outsourcing stuff like that to other countries, but by golly they ought to make classes in English as a second language MANDATORY, or at least make sure that they raise the standards for what they think a *working knowledge of English* is. *sigh*

Anyway, for once I  to e-mail support for ending our saga, and encourage anybody else who is waiting, especially you guys outside the US, to do the same, including attaching the e-mail to your question (there's a space for attaching documents when you submit your question, for those who have never done it).

However i know ill be yelling like im talking to nancy (sims online? whats that?) smith *giggles* I just REALLY hope the information that they havent sent out the coupons out yet is true...

I REALLY hate when somone says they are going to do something and they DONT do it. Seriously...how hard is it to plug in the server that kicks out emails. I would even love a "we are working on it" email right about now(for old times sake) *giggles*

After a few emails, and a few follow up emails (they took ages to respond) I managed to get the 90 days of Pogo for myself and my man.. That was a week or two ago. Took 2 or 3 weeks of communication first though.

They said they were 'surprised' I hadn't received anything previously, then I had to let them know which offer I wanted. As I have never played any other EA games knowingly, I wasn't going to bother spending money on games using their $15 rebate. So I am not sure how long it would take them to actually send out the rebate.

I thought about emailing her but im sure shes still tied up with all the billing issues and whatnot so i didnt want to bother her. Yes i know its her job but im sure coupons arent the priority.

Im also worried about the fact that it will take 2 to 3 weeks. The coupons only good untill Aug.31st and i think thats less then 5 weeks away. Especialy with not even a reply from them yet so we havent even started the banter yet.

I know its just a 15 dollar coupon but right now im going thru the "EA FLIPPING OWES ME!" phase. Heck EA owes all of us weather you use it or not!

FWIW I'm sure Pari would do anything she *could* do, but e-mailing her didn't help me finally get the offer e-mailed to me. I had to go file a ticket with support.ea.com and send the last 8 digits of the cc on our accounts, plus the e-mail address associated with each account and the usernames. The more of that info you include in your primary ticket, the better.

I emailed ea support, I told them about the problem, included my two user names for my 2 accounts and last 8 digits of the credit card on both accounts + a copy of the email I received.

The next they they emailed me back and gave me my 2 discount codes for $15 off the EA store.

Well, I finally called EA today about the subscription billing issue. So while I was on the phone with them for that, I decided to ask about the $15 off or 3 months of Pogo offer. I did finally receive the original e-mail with the offer, but after I clicked the link and selected my choice, they never got back to me with a coupon code. So they told me to go to the support site, which I did. I sent them an e-mail and they FINALLY sent me the coupon code. There is only one thing that sounds remotely interesting, and that is SimCity4 Deluxe. It's also probably the only game that sounds interesting that I CAN play. So that is what I'm getting At least if it's a mistake, I won't be paying full price. :)

Boycotts wont work, people please stop over-reacting.

EA is the worlds largest video game distributor and creator, the majority of video games published are EA created or distributed video games.

The video games that receive large amounts of funding and time are usually a good quality, the support does suck... but that's corporate America.

We are a minority group compared to other EA customers, and I doubt that if one person calls in and asks their local video game retailer to boycott EA published video games. Its a billion dollar company, the only way it will shut down is if it is bought out, or its stocks fall so much that it collapses by its self.

Nancy smith wont be fired, shes doing what the suits tell her and cover anything up, plus shes making a ton of money and will never have to scrub toilets :p.

I read someone's comment about why they didn't offer us an option to play UO. The question is why would you want to play it? I have tried it and it is awful. It isn't user friendly either.
