anyone noticed this after last patch?

Now this is probably not important at all but:

all my chars carry town runebooks that I dye with the "default" color of a runebook dyetub - making them look a little like spellbooks but with the ankh symbol. Well, after the latest small patch these runebooks have all changed to the "normal" runebook color, the brownish color freshly made runebooks are.
They can be dyed back.

Just thought I mention this in case someone has noticed similar things...

Does the same thing happen if you use plain plant dye instead of the dye tub? I think I'll try it out.

Someone mentioned this in general chat on origin a few weeks back.

None of mine did that and I do have a few *dyed* that way, I asked in general if anyone else had that issue and it seemed only the one person did so I don't know what that's all about, I couldn't replicate it, I bought a fresh runebook and dyed it to test and nothing happened so I'm not sure!

FYI: I dyed them back using the same method as above and when I loged back in after work I found they have gone back to brown again

Checked my books and all seem fine. Though most of mine are dyed the facet color.

I don’t know if any of you actually noticed this before…

I mean… even before the runebook dye tubs came to be, when you crafted a runebook, for a fraction of a second the book actually appears this red color with the yellow “rune size” ankh… THEN it turns the natural brown. It still does this, it's just so fast… you may not notice.

I also checked this “default” color question, just now… nothing is out of place. It's always been this same non-brown natural color. Logged out, logged in again… it stays the same. Runebooks are one of my big “bread & butter” items with my line of establishments. I would hate if we lost that true default color. The same-old tub colors are so dull, thanks in part to the plant dyes, at least we have something brighter now. (Less the old neon books).

What's really annoying, with the new ship runes… if you loose your ship and have the rune booked… the runebook can go from a special old neon color (or any color) to the default color. Thus possibly destroying a very rare color runebook.

I have also noticed that if you have a new ship rune in your book and it deacys when you try to recall to the boat it changes the color of the book. Its not a big deal i guess but if you had neon dyed books it would be a a pain

Update, I dyed all my changed runebooks back to "default" color yesterday. When I logged in to day, they were all back to brown again
Seems to happen at server up...

Okdoke... I checked this first thing in the morning, not like I had a choice... BUT its not logging-out and logging-in... Its server down! Back to brown.

Runebooks...
In your backpack.
On vendors.
Locked down (entire libraries)

Looks like it doesn't matter how old the books are, they all get hit by this bug.

Does it only happen directly after server up?

Just checked my books again and none that were colored have changed

Odd I check the old stack of books i have on origin and see if any reverted to normal

To clarify this: most of the books I have coloured have kept their color.
It only happened (at least for me) to books that were dyed with the "default" setting of the runebook tub. The "default" setting sort of clears the item of any color (same as the furniture tub btw) and runebooks get a nice clean "fleshy" color this way.
If you have a slower connection or are hit with a lag spike while making runebooks you will notice that they appear in this 0 color for a split second before getting their original brown color.
