Mx out your luck, say Fel Wind Mint, and go at it. plenty of mining in the guard zone for salty peter there

Wind is one I tried. Haven't done a luck suit yet but I do have a luck statue for it's hour bonus.

All I have to worry about there are PK mages.

why worry about PK mages in Wind? There are plenty of guardzone mining spots there!

you can mine salty peter inside town, if they attack you, just loot their suit . . .

Gathered 100 Chaga Mushroom last night to imbue a luck suit. I'll see what 800 luck and the luck statue does for finding niter.

you even posted in the same thread on UHall (the one about unscrewing high seas) where Tyrath explained how much luck you should use at the minimum to get decent results mining niter deposits...just sayin'...plus since you're mining in wind GZ you could even risk wearing a high end luck suit!

I'm not one to seriously reward pks for their taking little risk. *chuckles*

Well 800 luck did bump the niter digs up to 3 to 4 saltpeter each. Still the clumsy size and not any more common though.

Yeah, at the rate I'm finding niter deposits, mining saltpeter to make fuses with would take days of play. I can make gold faster hunting all those required mining & alchemy hours. Shoot, I do pretty good just looting the spawn during the hunt for niter.

O.k. adding 100 luck sword and shield bringing luck to 1000 has helped, 6 niter deposits in an hour. Beats the fertilizer out of 800 luck niter mining. Think I'll buy another soulstone and train Landreu in Alchemy so the two of them can double team the job. Get it done twice as fast with it only taking half of forever and a day.
