anyone having trouble with provocation?

I was doing some tmaps in felucca and some of the mobs would not attack each other after successful provoke attempts. They would just continue after me or after my pet... They were guardians of the treasure chest and I was using the enhanced client. Just wondering if anyone was having trouble with this as i just noticed it today.

Had a problem a week or so ago when I did a direct peace on a Dev of Souls at 120! It continued like it had never been peaced at all, a couple other types too seemed to not be effected by the Peace skill on occasion. I had noticed it on a 110 Peacer when area peacing, it wasn't working a month ago on many numerous occasions when I would use it on upper monsters. On Provocation I noticed that bug also about a month or so ago if I provo'd more then two monsters, on more then one occasion one would come off :thumbdown:.
So I think what ever tweak was done about a month ago messed up all barding skills. Had noticed on my 120 Disco mage that it was taking longer then normal to disco the higher end monsters now, and I had better luck using a NON slayer instrument then a slayer one on numerous monsters.

These are ugly news. Sampires no longer working without a skill and armour overhaul, now bards also defect, so only reason to log in that is left is to watch my self tending plants. :bored:

Death of the Sampire you say? What typical changes do you see them doing in the future? (besides flowers)
Some players are saying the adjustments needed are not too big but I can hardly believe it given the fact I am about 61 chivalry and depending heavily on my current mods on my jewelry. I also dislike the nerf to enchanted apples and orange petals - so really this is also a nerf to gardeners :danceb:.

Bards got nerfed ..... now sampires... who next?
I have given up using my bards, when a creature keeps coming at you or wont attack who you clearly have the message you succesfully pick to fight, look at you as if your a lolly pop and dont fight. What good is it if the monsters can out vote you... there is a point where players will walk off if their mains get so nerfed that its impossible to play. Yes I know many have screamed of the unfairnes of sampires having all the power to do cake walks.... I'd have up'ed the rest not messedwith something that was working.. The object is players were happy and had a winner.... to be fair, I do wish I could get my hands on whoever yipped about what ever skill set a player had that was "over powered" and started this race to balance it out I could kick their tush and make them go sit in the corner. Ever sense this was started one after another skill has been powered up then down then nerfed to oblivion....I am truly sick of it. Dev dont play every day ... your idea of balanced is not how it turns out.

I'am having that problem on all creature that are part of the faction System. I can't provoke anything on those creatures. I get a success message but they simply don't start to fight. (Ogre Lord, Daemon etc)

I think the faction creatures may be the bug in all honesty...
It only usually happens on fel tmaps and the creatures with the faction tags may be the culprit. Ill have to keep an eye on it in the future but I am considering just dropping provocation all together. If creatures are not going to stick on each then its useless.
