anyone GM Imbuing yet?




I couldnt get into Ter Mur yesterday.My thanks to brave Europeans that have made runes ,I will go there tonight and start training.

60 or close to 60 first day is impressive,but it actually means that it will not be a fast and/or easy way to GM.

I managed to get to almost 46 from 40. I'm starting to really wish I had just made a new toon with 50.

I made it from 50.0 to 51.6 (but was bootstapping myself up going out hunting)

( on the other hand, I went from 0 to 100.0 focus without logging out ... gargoyles burn stamina like crazy )

i didnt get very far because all the loot i saved to unravel was too high for my imbuing. had to hunt low mobs and now im on my way (51 from 50, lol)

I got to 55 or so from 40. My goal tomorrow is atleast 70. Just need to keep a steady supply of things to unravel!

BTW, how do you maintain the supply of Magical Residue? I'm burning low-end runic hammer to make cutlass, then unravel them.

I couldnt even start yesterday because I didnt manage to get to the soul forge in Ter Mur.


But that is now fixed because the heroes of Europa have made runes for everyone to use.

I think I made it to 50.3 or so. I spent a good chunk of my play time just wandering about the wilderness exploring the new lands with a guild mate. When I started imbuing I spent a good hour or so unravelling what hoarded loot I could. I did 2 quests and got myself a 110 and 115 imbuing PS. Ingredients are whats holding me up. Tonight when I get home I'm going to burn up the 20 or so low end hammers I have making daggers to unravel and build up a stock of residue. Hopefully I'll get enough to get myself close to 60 or so.

I was around 70 when i decided to stop for raising my loyalty. 15 minutes late the shard went down and still is (already 5 hours down)

I take my pally out and hunt with unravel bags. I fill them up and then unravel them. 5-10min of hunting yields about 70-100 of the magic residue depending on what you are fighting.

what are the quests for the imbuing powerscrolls?

The NPC's around the soul forge in the Royal city give you pretty easy quests to get them. 110 requires gathering 50 residue. 115 requires 50 essence, and 120 is (I assume, I haven't looked yet) 50 relic fragments.

Petra has the beginning of one up the the Craftsman Forum Data Chest. It's incomplete right now, but nothing could be solidly nailed down until the official release. I assume in the next few weeks things should become more clear cut and a solid training plan created.

If you're anything like me you don't have the patience/mental dexterity to make much sense out of Petra's intensive research. So here's what I did, I gave my skill tutor statue to my new gargoyle, filled his pack llama with ingredients and sat him in front of the soul forge. As it turns out, for training, aiming for about a 50% success rate is the optimal area for gains. So, try to find a property to imbue that uses the least/easiest for you to obtain ingredients and imbue a bunch of daggers for a while. Don't forget that once you imbue them you can unravel them for a return on your ingredients. I've only just started my training (I'm not even to 51 yet), but as I learn more I can provide more info.
