yup, lots of us. My postcount was reset by the admins at 'best guess'
If Petra hadn't posted my best guess would have been maybe they didn't bother to fix those who haven't logged into the game in years and said to hell with em. But since she plays regularly I fail at life again.

This is my first post on this site, but I think they gave me a "best guess" post count too.
Oh...and I had to e-mail the admins of this site to let me use my same posting name that I was using on the old forums.

my name didnt just show up . altho it shouldnt have been hard (same exact name) i had to send an email to [email protected] . they got on it right away actually and found all my info . a day or 2 later im back to lore master.

sometimes when you know the obvious that you dont realize everyone is thinking the same. We you admins said to look for imported_username thats what I put in and found nothing. You didnt say to replace username with my username. You should say look for imported_xxxxxxx where xxxxxx is your username. 'nuff said!

The admins have been great, doing all this manual data shuffling, and I emailed my info right after they made the announcement. However, they indicated that my stuff is simply gone, and it seems that is the case with many people. They put my registration date back in based on an ancient email I had from the registration confirmation years back from the old forums, and they added what I could remember as the last post milestone: 9,000.
I found some of my old posts, as well as Kelmo's, Rico's, Petra's, and others whose user info was not retrievable in threads from imported_users that we had posted in, and we appear as "guest". That appears to be all that remains of the many thousands of posts we made.
Something is weird with the search too, because I have found such posts, but if you do an actual keyword search with text strings from them, they do not show up in the search results.

P.S. note that just because someone's user name was imported, it doesn't mean the posts actually are accessible. As far as I can tell most of what was archived is not around. Some people show many thousands of posts with their imported user name, but only a handful may be actually on the forums when you search for their posts.

If you remember at least the month and year that you originally registered, and email the info to the admins, they can fix that for you Kelmo.
