Having alot of fun, I just wish I had more time to play, real life gets in the way. Been able to acquire 10 minor's so far with my limited time (8 hours maybe?).
Been using a sammie but trying to fight these captains with out having a couple greater dragons is like a death sentence (black screen). Going to drop necro
and adjust things a bit, but that's part of the fun actually, you just are unable to leech alot with these mobs to make it worth using vamp form. I had the most fun
last night fighting a bone demon for 45 minutes that was for some reason still round long after the tower was destroyed. It was like a 15 round boxing fight
and I almost died 3 or 4 times, but i finally killed Mr. Bones . The biggest problem I had was that the bone demon kept healing itself and while it was healing I found myself having to wait for more mana to heal myself as well. It just went back and forth the whole time and when i was low on health it would come towards me, but as soon as I healed up it would move away from me.
Loved the challenge and there was no other players anywhere to be found so no help, just the way I wanted it to go. Thank you for the fun, I really enjoyed it.

I'm having a blast. I really love how the shard has come together to battle these things. I've gotten drops, but I haven't really paid much attention to it because I'm focused on getting in the battle and helping out where I can.

How cool would it be if they added the trinket to the list of current rewards. Same mods as the old one but maybe you can choose a certain super slayer version, or maybe with no slayer at all.

After I got my hooded luck garb I thought it would be nice to collect some of the low-end items, too. And I think, that was a good decision:



Loving it! 25 points is about 3-4 nights hunting for me. Reasonable effort. Next items I need are:

Mace and shield helmet or circlet
Cloak of Death Epaulettes
Another Shroud of Condemned Epaulettes
and finally another Luck Garb Epaulettes

about 4 weeks of daily grind ahead, hehe

Having had time to do any invasion fighting during the week, but last weekend I got 28 arties, so I am hoping to get more during this one.
I had much fun last weekend.

Finally up to 31 Arties since event start. Slow going, but making progress. I still think the turn in points for each item are a little steep for the time required, but I'm getting there.

Debating what to get. I actually don't need a hooded Conjurer's Garb and would use a crimson cincture alternative, but the garb is so much more elusive. Hmmm

Less than 100 items to go to finish reworking Malag's suit... He now has the Mace and Shield Royal Circlet and luck Garb Epaulettes...... and I love it! Now I just need the woodland belt Crimmy and he'll look great.

It takes a LOT to keep me doing one thing in this game but this invasion has me hooked. The different monsters, captains and cities are enough to keep me going non stop. Big thanks to Mesanna Bleak_Mythic and Kyronix I just hope they keep it in the cities as a permanent home instead of adding some watered down version in the back hole of a dungeon.

It's not very hard if people work together as a community and with a 2200 luck suit i'm averaging 4-5 drops per city.

Has anyone else found a captain that seems to have 100% physical resist, or nearly 100%? Tonight a friend and I encountered a macer against which bombard did zero damage, and a 100% physical weapon did zero damage without Armor Ignore. We wound up switching to our necros, taking it down with fireballs and corpse skin.

I know, others got MUCH more - some people can hunt 24/7. My time window is in the night, when wife and childs are sleeping. So - not bad. Still enjoying it and having much fun!

It also would make basically no storyline sense (something which is more important to the game than people find it convenient to admit for some reason).

I really can't wait for the complaints about the drop system being permanent by those who claim they didn't realize all this time.

What I see with the city invasion is a really easy way to work with the community, have a lot of fun and meet a ton of new friends they wouldn't otherwise meet. That's something that won't continue when they stick a weaker version in the bottom level of some dungeon where a sampire will solo it.

Will it wear off? Sure, everything does eventually. I don't see it anytime soon as long as there's any gold value to the minors.

Several characters can solo the invasion, with varying degrees of difficulty or ease, even under present conditions. Since you admit people will lose interest sooner or later (here is the excerpt in case you forgot):

then sooner or later you'd be left with people soloing things in towns. And, oh yeah, unless and until the invasion is defeated in a given town, that town basically won't be useable. Which do you think people would do, fight like Hell forever to free every city? Or just write off a city?

I do suppose you don't care about that either ("that" being a city being just written off); how nice for you. Those who like that city, and someone likes every city, would differ.

There shouldn't be constant invasions, forever. That's just a tad silly to so much as propose. Maybe as part of the storyline a city is lost entirely and is the home of spawn forever. But then people who really liked that city complain (justly) and people who want to play evil characters complain that they can't join up with the bad guys int hat city (a much sillier complaint) and so forth.

Oh and how on Earth can you possibly know that the permanent encounter will be watered down? This isn't the same kind of thing as Exodus, who was a very big Epic Boss Monster designed at first for a large group then re-imagined for smaller groups.

You won't see this post of course because you don't care what I have to say which, frankly, is just fine with me.

I have managed to get 43 minax arties so far, and I have only been playing during the weekends.
Got myself one of them 5 int, 3 hp epaulettes so far, and I hope to get another 3 before the invasion ends and Minax arties get moved somewhere else.

So far, so good.

Im just after a token Blackthorn item ...nothing amazing prob opt for a 25 item prize.....just for the museum display..the invasions are ok but a little grindy and soon get very repetative.....but hell ive only got a hour or so a day free at best.......god knows how people feel that play 20 hours a day....and yes they do exsist!!....lets see what happens in the new blackthorn dungeon...hopefully simlilar drop rates will keep 'some' people interested for a while longer...

No, please don't change to replicas midway. I earned 77 Minax Arties during the invasions. I plan to keep working it to get my items. Not everyone was able to acquire as much as you during the compressed invasion period. I think this is a great permanent addition to the game as it is.

Considering the grind to get just one big reward, I fully agree. I say this as someone who got the two 100-pointers he wanted he wanted. It's a lot of work.
