Anyone else have weird things happen during part 3 of the quest?

Was running my guys down for my chance at winning the human/elf housing plot in the Abyss today, just like the past 2 days.

On my 3rd attempt, I got the same fizzle, you lose message...

And a bunch of fireworks started firing off..?


Didn't happen to any of my other characters.

I assumed that, but right after it happened we got a global message from a GM saying the server was going down. Just coincidence I guess.

Especially since Snakeman just admitted to it. Great job Snake - maybe someday you'll be cool in reality.
