Yes, yes, it has nothing to do with that.I tried to replicate this crash a few times and it just won't happen.
Have you all checked your add-ons to make sure they're up to date?
OS versions?Yes, yes, it has nothing to do with that.
AdBlock + NoScript.
I see NoScript as most useful addon anyone can get for reducing annoyance:I use Flash Killer:

...
I use Ad Blocker too:

That is, of course, your prerogative.I see NoScript as most useful addon anyone can get for reducing annoyance:

Allowing random people to execute, usually poorly written and annoying but sometimes malicious, JavaScript within your client is both a bad idea from a security standpoint and definitely an annoyance standpoint too.
No Stratics, I don't wanna execute the tracking code you've embedded onto your pages from Google. I don't wanna run your embedded scripts from 3rd party advertising agencies to target Flash ads to me and I certainly don't want poorly written decorative snow scripts crashing my browser after being embedded into the page by someone not competent enough to recognize and deal with the often complex issue of scripts and browser-compatibility in web design.
Anyone with a serious interest in keeping tight control of what random sites can run on your browser should certainly check it out. It'll protect you from many of the zero-day attacks against browser software also since many of them exploit weaknesses in the script engine to do unsavory things.
Take care.
your doing a great job.. ive never had a crash from this site..Scripts I, as the incompetent currently running this show, have included in the pages are the collapsing menus and the world clock. I am happy to provide the actual script for examination by someone competent to eliminate these as the cause of these crashes. Which neither I, nor my husband, are experiencing.
Of course if anyone feels they could do a better job than I am, they could always apply to Den Dragon to take over.
Alot of times if you are working with graphics or websites your cache can get over loaded with file ect. Hubby who is a web designer is always dumping his cache, cookies, everything because if the file is stored and you update it, alot of times it pulls the old file in the temp folder, not the new one.Upside is, by changing the header graphic instead, we get the seasonal flavour on the forums too. Though I had to do a hard refresh to see it. Browser cache I guess?
