Anyone able to trade in blue crystallized essence's? I can't.

We were instructed to save blue crystals and use up all red crystals as they would be useless once Thomas the Tinkerer goes away. Looks like they pulled a fast one on us as I saved 3 red and about 40 blue's, which are now useless.

Is it just me? Has anyone successfully traded in blue crystallized essence's towards points for the new costumes?

The blue crystals will be used in a future event involving Magincia. The red crystals are able to be turned in for costumes.
