[Imbuing] Any tricks on making an imbued mage suit?

I am trying to fills some holes in a suit.

Is there a trick to get better armor resists off the bat? 3 pieces of the suit will have LRC 18, MR2, and 7,7,6 LMC. That will leave one piece for LRC 18, MR2 and 3 properties left.

I am trying to fit in the Pendent of the Magi and Hat of the Magi if possible.

What I do to fill in the holes is to limit myself to imbuing only those resists that the lowest in my suit. Lets say that fire and poison are the lowest. I use my legendary tailor with gm arms lore and craft several pieces of armor that have low fire and poison, but high physical, cold and energy. (On one suit I crafted, I managed to get gloves, legs and sleeves with around 15 energy each.) Then I imbue the max resists for fire and poison on each piece. If you need more specific advice I can show you my mystic's suit and my necro mage's suit. They have lots of stats plus high resists.

i find the best way to get resists is to use a reg sewing kit and reg leather. roll the pieces until u get one resist up to 12-14 range. now u can add 5 mods. so 3 resists and two magical or 2 resists and 3 magical. so in the end you would get mr 2 lmc 8 lrc 20 and resists like 18 17 14 6 7. dont quote me on the exact resists as im doing this at work but my point is you will have 3 resists in the teens, 2 of which are in the upper teens. this will put u around 500/500 cap. now u have to take a chance and enhance to get higher.

while this is the most expensive way to build your suit it will give u the best results.

I used this method to build a pvp parry mage suit that uses, folded steel, aof crys ring and orny. so u are relying on gorget, arms, gloves legs to get ur resists. in the 3 suits i have built, all had to be enhanced to hit all 70's.

however the end result is that they are insane suits. corpse skin proof, max lmc high mr, hld proof sdi cap etc etc....

my opinion.
