any faction thieves busy these days?

Just wondered. Saw the post talking about factions getting some attention, and wondered if there are any faction thieves busy these days. If so, which shards?

yet this is a forum for pvp thieves, and faction thieves are most definitely pvp thieves.

I've been an active faction thief on GL since...well...factions came out. Having an entire organized group trying to kill me after I make a steal makes it so much more fun. Getting sigils out of a well-defended base will provide a thief with a challenge he will find nowhere else.

I loved it so much I decided to form a TB thieves guild and pass the fun on to others. If anyone wants a TRUE challenge as a thief, come to GL and join me.

Unfortunatly not really...most of the so called PvP faction thieves just run in...die...run in (in stat) die...rinse and repeat until they get lucky. Unlike nonel and a very few others they have no finess, no skill, no anything...they are just as bad as thiefs.

Thats because generally speaking they're PVPers...not thieves...in the sense that most of us are thieves. If Nonel is good sigil thief I bet he uses the tactics he learned stealing from pockets before sigils. The sigil thieves I've seen (for the most part) are not sneaky calculating thieves that you need to be in order to run a pure, non agressive, thief template.

If you want to see active busy thieves, stop in GL for a day or two. The thieves here run pretty much round the clock, especially the TB thieves.., (looks at purple wolf self) ... yes, burned a lot of meals lately for it too .

And Rich is right. Having the skills/jewelry/etc. to steal doesn't make a player a faction thief. The word I have heard a lot lately to describe the faction thieves I know.... obsessed.

Actually the thieves that run in and die over and over usually don't claim to be pvpers, they would be more or less pure thieves... The only pvp thieves I can think of off the top of my head is Nonel and myself... Remat maybe but he hasnt been around for a while.

Regardless.. plenty of faction action on GL. Oh yeah and since I'm on the topic.. to the OP.. if your shard doesn't have much faction fighting in bases and you want the factions to pick up in that direction... the way to get that started is with thieves.. they are the catalyst for **** storms... just be consistent with keeping those sigs in your base.. Hold the towns and when they try and hold them.. god.. ask Tinkz and Nonel.. you may not be able to get the sigs but it is fun as **** ****ing with people who are not prepared to track and reveal thieves..

OH MY ... did I love to try to raid you in SL and Minax. Sometimes it just ended up with me surrounding your base with mirror images and telling you to surrendor, but oh, it was FUN! And Cardell is right, be sure to steal and put those sigs in your base, set up a bit of a defense... the fights will come to you!

I think something people forget or don't realize is that factions takes a bit of work and patience. The only instant gratification I know of in factions is making that epic steal from a guarded base.

Yeah man. When EGO was SL there was so much pvp on GL. Those days were ****ing dope.
