[Fishing] Another quest question

ive finally got enough gold to buy a tokuno ship. I currently have 4 crates on my current little ship. Everytime i turn a crate in another quest pops up. How do I get a new ship without losing points by rejecting quests or dry docking my ship?

You don't lose points from rejecting a quest - only ABANDONING it after you accept it.

Or at least, that is the official statement from the devs.
