Tuesday, August 03, 2010… I was doing a bit of crafting in my house when I saw a yellow name run past. I dropped what I was doing to run out and greet this very special visitor. After a small chat, she got to work on the banner. Using my original idea with some of her own creative ideas. Easily one of the better designs I’ve seen. A amalgamation of two creative minds. You would truly have to pay it a visit to appreciate this work of art. I have to admit it was just as fun to see it being built. Our building options are so much more limited then the total palette available. If only their was a large bell available for the Church of Candy’s bell tower. Maybe for Christmas 2010? [hint-hint] ;-)

Hard to believe this banner comes just as my main account turned 10 years old. Where did the time go? As corny as it is to say this… but I love helping my fellow Atlantic players the best I can… being a fairly lousy hunter, doing vendors is the best we, us horrible hunters, have to build our little empire… and I love sharing that aspect of the game with others. I just wish we had less mindless harassment and rune-thieves running around. But… I guess that’s just part of the “greater” community.

I’ve met a lot of great people all over the world, playing our shard. That’s the big thing no one talks about, when talking about online gaming. An international community. Well beyond having a pen friend on the other side of the planet. I hope our game stays alive for many years to come. The Red & Purple will be around till the end! ;-)

I think there are six at the R&P town. Unless they have expanded recently.

I have to update the pic of the S&L as its just had a facelift... but 6 in the town... with the offical town banner. There are 2 malls outside the town, 1 by the Yew Moongate... one just outside Luna city walls, west side.

Side note... there is an Abby of Candy, to match the Church of Candy, north of Skara Brea. hehe. That's one of my more creative designs for a friend.
