Ankh dungeon?

So I'm slowly going through and remapping the entire world. I finished the Ki-Rin Passage earlier tonight, and started working on Ankh Dungeon.

So, I found this. Looks like it's a leftover from an old EM quest? Anyone know anything about these two areas of the Ankh Dungeon that seem to now be completely inaccessible on Chessie?
