Animal Taming and RoT WTF?!?

This is the second day in a row I was shorted 0.2 points on RoT.

I started at 70 Animal Taming two days ago. Gains stopped at 74.8!

Today I continued training and they stopped at 79.6!

I've trained other skills on the same account, and a different, and it always goes 70, 75, 80, 84, 88, etc...

What the hell is so different about Animal Taming?

I've created a few chars and worked up a few new skills in the last couple months.

70's is supposed to be 5 a day but it has been 4.8 for all my characters and all the skills on the characters. (when training in the 70's) It must be something that changed.

Does ever having used a soulstone on a character effect it somehow?

Nope. I left the skill off a Soul Stone both days.

I have noticed with some skills, you have to wait the RoT timer amount after pulling a skill of the a Soul Stone before you can get a first gain. This was not the case with Animal Taming in question.

No, both accounts have Soul Stones.

I got the same thing - around 4.8 training values each day. Its definatly a bug of some kind. not a big deal.
I also didnt use soul stones the whole time I was training.

could be phantom gains .
if you have a skill at max but still have it turned up you can get gains that dont show ... check your skills and lock anything that is raised up to your powerscroll max .

Perhaps. I'll keep an eye on that when I do my next skills from 70.

I am currently traing chiv and found the same thing.

No SS and everything is locked execpt Chiv up and focus down.

Been 02 short every day it seems.
