An evening at the Blue Boar

...Finding myself short of a coin or two (in other words, not able to afford 'bed & board' for the night), I head off to the Blue Boar feeling rather down on luck...

I begin to mingle amongst the local patrons with only my charm and good looks to recommend me (my physique is not that of a hunter you understand). I manage to persuade a few of them to part with their coinage by giving a rather exagerated and lengthy story relating to my unfortunate situation, I soon become one of the party.

As the night wore on and the patrons became inebriated with alcohol, I discovered the full extent of their generosity. In truth, I become unrecognisable to them, as a face they know, a long lost friend, a relative and as I continue to go about my rounds I greatfully accept their coinage and must have acquired the remaining contents of their purses by the end of the eve!

I now find myself quite content with my situation.

A successful eve to be sure!
'Bed & Board' affordable once more!

(Last Eve in the Blue Boar I finally yes finally Grand Mastered the begging skill! It's taken a long time! Without the use of any scrolls (not because I did not want to use them, just simply because I had not the in-game gold to buy them)! I would like to thank all the people who have contributed to this board, since by reading it I have learnt about, perservered and GM'd the begging skill.:lick:)

Congratulations, and thank you for the lovely tale. It's good to see the art of storytelling isn't entirely lost on the current generation of beggars.
