not sure but im pretty sure its real soon cause of the recent update of the "primary" sim button (or avatar whichever is preferred lol) so im thinking real soon...they said they would send out the city signs first so maybe they will start this upcoming week?

We were told with this last post that it is April 30th, so I bet it will either be on that day or with the Wednesday update after the 30th. edit: April 30th *is* a Wednesday so that makes sense as to why that would be the date. That's only 25 days away \o/

Yeah but that's different from amnesty, amnesty will distribute anniversary gifts and locks.

Related, but not directly.....the gift markers are to commemorate the cities in which the sims came from, but it's never been said that amnesty objects and skill locks will be distributed at the same time. Don't get me wrong, it would be great if they were, but it will be unfair to alot of people since they have already set the April 30th deadline to sign up to receive amnesty.....that would shorten it by 20 days and there might be people who are counting on another paycheck or two before they sign accounts up, so I think shortening that might cause (another) small riot. LOL

*nod* It had been MY understanding that the whole procedure was going to be done in stages. First off the select our main sim thing, now the markers are next up, which presumably will be followed by the locks and anniversary gifts, maybe even the week after. Anyway, someone was complaining earlier about the lack of info forthcoming from those of us at the Town Hall meeting, and when I saw the topic header here, I thought I had something relevant to add.

It *is* done in stages, you're correct on that, its just that those two are being done separately from what you said when Greg stated that the anniversary objects were going to be given out next week. If that's the case they they have to be done separately because otherwise they'd be moving up the deadline we'd been given for amnesty....that's all I meant. No offense taken or meant.
As for the Town Hall comment if you're referring to me saying that I meant info as it relates to this new system of moneymaking....I figured that would be a hot topic of discussion there since Greg opened the Town Hall not long after that post was posted about here....was hoping to get some 'straight from the source' info that would diffuse some of the panicking that was going on. So far the only thing that was posted on the blog to achieve that was Luc and Sarah's reiteration in red that this is not going to have an effect on most of the Joe Average Players, but that doesn't seem to be doing much to calm fears here

Again I did not mean anything offensive, if I came off as curt I apologize....I think I've spent too much time in the other thread today trying to be the voice of reason.....LOL. Might be time for a good long bubble bath and maybe even a drink, if only we had any wine coolers in the house
