Altered quivers?

OK quiver damage is or at lest was suppose to be for archers mainly, with little or no help to Dexers, with the quiver of infinity being the exception or so was my understanding. so with converting quivers into wing armor is that just for throwing or is it for all combat? or did i just waste 10 blight for nothing? these are important to get an official answer before on tears up a QoI.

I don't know what the official answer is, but It makes no sense that anyone but an archer should get any bonus from a quiver.

I wish they would make sheathes and scabbards and belts with weapon hangers. New art that actually makes sense for a dexxer to wear. They could keep the same props to make it fair, but swordsmen and mages wearing a quiver with no archery skill makes no sense. Its like a rl pro boxer wearing an empty gun holster on his trunks. :/

OK well possibly, but er-regardless the altered quiver is wing armor now and will not even hold any arrow though it still says quiver and has a 0/1 count

Weird. Shame you can't use the storage as a wing pocket!

To alter a quivers you need a GM Tailor and soulforge, that about it, I alter many of those but none since the last patch.

yes but what bonus and damage mods apply to what
My understanding is that the damage modifier from the quiver is only applied to equipped bows. So the only quiver worth altering would be the quiver of infinity that has the DCI. That bonus applies to nonarchers and basically anyone with a weapon skill. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken.

Yes that is kinda what i'm asking but why make a system for just one item that was released 5 or 6 years ago? seeing that gargys can't use bows does that damage control effect throwing or not, or does it effect all combat or not.
