Alteration Question

Have been fiddling with Mysticism on my human mage and think he might do better as a gargoyle. However, he has a Sorcerer's armor set which I like. Can that set be entirely altered so I don't lose full set bonuses?

Sorry, no. the sorcerer's set includes a hat which cannot be altered.
