Best I did was to supply my ship enough to get 5 of the 8 deeds needed for an orc ship off of one guys boat
hey thats not bad! I oddly got all my orc boat deeds doing the pirate quest.
I should have been more clear. I did the pirate quest for all of mine. But the cannon balls, charges, fuses, and matches came from two or three stops at an unlocked boat
So that was from Player ships? Stupid question i know.
Did anyone ever manage to get a fish chest?
It was the normal chest you would find resources, however inside was 57 types of fish steaks. That was probably the best and most peculiar thing I found.
Edit: If there is anyone who would be interested in these, feel free to shoot me a PM. I have no use for these and really dont have the space to display them all.

Yes It was collected from two player ships probably moving somewhere.
I was luckily blasting away at the ship with 124 million gold while my friend was shooting a legacy ship that we would come to find cannot be boarded.
neat. so this is another way to become massively rich overnight. it's just like idocs! thanks for being a leech on society, we clearly needed more leeches.
People who leave important stuff on their ships in Felucca waters are just asking for it to be looted. It was part of the booster design for pirates.
I have had my boats on Siege plundered many times and I've also looted a few myself
And its fun.
Although I can't match this loot, as people on Siege are streetwise when it comes to what they leave in boats.
So lets say you run across a Idoc and it falls you gonna sit there and let it decay? I really do not see how looting a ship in fell or looking for idocs makes anyone a leech. Its part of the game. Oh I had a bunch of silly christmas deco that I "leeched" at idocs on my ship in tram thinking maybe it would be used in the next spring/summer clean up. Its gone now someone took it because I did not set the security right I guess????
So I can safely assume you would never attend an IDOC or if you happened to destroy a ship which is a game mechanic, you wouldn't loot it?

Do the artifacts the owner was wearing count?
Mostly i get MIBS, fishing artys, and such off player ships, why on earth would a player store stuff like in the OP's pic in their ship....ever???? I would see the item count and the weight while mousing over the hold and that ship would be blown out of the water quite quickly.
On a semi-related sidenote, best loot from high seas so far was at sea market, caught someone afk invisible at the single saltpeter vendor we've had since day1 on siege (we never got the ones on the docks.....ever...., and the one at sea market you have to work up from 20 every 30 minutes every time :/)
He had everything filled in com deeds on his blue beetle....fail. Got a full arty suit, i think around 2k saltpeter, and 100 already made cannon ammo (heavy powder charges, fuses, cannonballs, the works)
