...again. I've been playing UO for almost 10 years now. I came to Seige to play a year or so ago. I played Chessy almost exclusively. Mary was created years ago, as a joke/reward gatherer. My kid payed a bit and joined C8V, lost interest in the game. I finished the T-Hunter template, LP, Cart, Magery, Detect Hidden, Disarm trap, Hiding and Stealth. (Please note, no PvP, no PvM skills.) Started to actually play the char near the end of the fall of Magincia. Got booted out of C8V because I knew a couple pepole irl (but never actually played with) that the GM didn't like. Okay, I was a little insulted but I understood there was no way the GM could know I had 20+ chars of all types and had never been anything but honest in game (and out). Hell, not one murder count even...not ever! In fact C8V was my first ever guild experience. I always played alone but would always help others if needed. I kept to myself mostly though. So, I'm on Seige, cant do maps, can't kill the spawn. I learn if I join Factions, I can get monster ignore. So KoC here I come. Only thing is, after a few weeks I'm kicked out of there because I know people irl.
Sorry, didn't want to rant & ramble. Just a bit more though, I joined an alt to Seige and joined a guild (clique) to try to get some fun of UO. Getting excluded more than included in the activities of the guild is wearing thin.
I read posts about wanting new players on the shard, is it just to brag about the number of members in a guild or to draw attention to the devs so you can say hey we have alot of members please listen to us?
Not feeling warm and fuzzy when I asked 5 people the same question this morning...got one "I don't know" (newbie), three totally ignored (Vets), the 'as far as I know' answer came from a guy who was here a few months.
So, I expect no mercy from pk's, but I need monster ignore so if I'm orange to you, just know I can't attack and leave me be unless you need the points or silver that badly. Be happy to assist anyone with Lockpicking or T maps.

I'm sorry to hear your experiences here have been less than thrilling. I cannot imagine that your guild membership would hinge on RL relationships with people here on Siege, unless perhaps they are in the same household and in an opposing guild. Even then, it could work out, depending on the nature of those involved... one would think. *shrugs*

Who are your in game characters and what are you looking for in a guild? Many guild leaders read this forum on a daily basis. Lets see if we can't find you a guild thats more suitable.

BTW were you upfront with your RL associations? because it seems whomever you have been associated with was so despicable that any relationship whatsoever would get you booted from not one but two guilds you would have no choice but to be upfront about who you know just so you do not appear to be anything that you are not.

I, if I had any decidions in anything, would have given you the benefit of the doubt. I would not be as generous if I had to find out on my own, that is providing the person you know is as despicable as he/she appears to be.

Yep, I was upfront about everything but had\have no real knowledge of in game politics or how guild heirarchies work. I was hoping to establish my own rep as an honest and fair player. I just got caught up in the **** storm.
