[Treasure Hunting] All Sorts Of Chests

Hi,
I have a question about the treasure chests.
I have got the chests from monsters - paragons, in game events,
treasure maps and such,
Why is the loot absolutely shockingly bad ?
Its is not even on par with mid range items.

Is this being addressed ?

I have tried with a luck suit, no difference and fel too

Please can anyone speak to the game designers and get back to me with any information or ask them to reply
here please.

Like as if I have wasted weeks on skills with no soul stones to change the character to a
useful one, to only be left at a dead end.

Loot there is ok. Scrolls (pinks and blues), maps, pardons, mana orbs. This is what people are doing maps for.
Skull long swords are good saving you one whetstone.
There are other places where you get good gear. Now all my para chests go to trash points without opening.

I do see what your saying, there are other items,
I would really like to see better armour and weapons
doing the roof, underwater or Scalis is not always an
option due to lack of players, if they reduced the
legendary items in the chest to a proportional amount
found on the top end monsters/boss then that would be
an improvement for me

There are lots of para balron corpses in Hythloth. Not many people care to loot em.
If you will try to kill normal balrons or other high fame mobs in game it will take you same much time to find something worth taking. Even high ones. Or champions.
Developers aimed to make you party with other players (where your loot qty increase giving more chances to get good items and lessening efforts), not just solo treasure maps. Most solo activities are less rewarding then group ones. We aim for some high end pieces (to use or to sell). And prices reflect how hard is to get them.
Maps are easy to get (miasma for example) , easy to dig solo. Blue scrolls in them are replacing artifacts. According to their prices.

Running 3k+ luck you should see a legendary or two in hoard and trove instead mostly junk cursed etc...

PS i accept the developers seem to think all mages use staffs but shouldn't they at least all be SC???

Nope. Mystics are good with FC+1 instead of SC/FC-1
Enchant gives you channelling

This is why I pretty much stopped treasure hunting. Between the waste of time guardians that give no loot and the worthless chests, I rarely do them. If I do any, the only ones I do are the artisan and mage so I can grab resources. They are boring now. I have 2 treasure hunters (different shards), one with remove trap, wasting skill points, so I can do the chest faster. And one without, that I have to use timers to wait out the remove trap which kills the enjoyment even more. The last time I subbed, I did not even log into either treasure hunter. I had 2 others but those had their treasure hunting skills removed soon after the change.

I still enjoy them. I do all of them except Eodon.

i have stopped doing any t-maps under hoard since hoard and trove have the best drop of blue and pinkies. Selling the blues and pinkies on a vendor is very profitable and thats really the only reason i do them anymore. Animal taming pinkie 2mil per .1 and animal taming blues for 1.5 m each for example.

I get a couple legendary from most of my cache chests. I don't do tokuno or eodon. My main purpose in tmaps is getti g 110 scrolls for pets. I love that I can target items by type. Would I add loot to maps? Of course! But even as is, I love tmaps. If we could get a grid container view in CC I would love them more. ore.

Yes, I have full Davies Locker on Atl. Means I don't need more. If I'll have room in it I will grab more maps. now just doing something else. Lots of new stuff for me.
On other shard I have house I ask other people to open white chests. Taking chest for myself. Other go to trash bin. If I lootes them. Lots of chests in Hythloth now.
